Party Prep

Everyday this week I've been doing something to prepare for Ellen's Graduation party on Saturday. 

I've been working at this for days....collecting, preparing, taping. Ellen loves looking at these pics!

I've done some chores that I've been putting off. Having people over gets them done, haha! 

Today has been food prep day. Whew, am I ever thankful for central air on this very hot day!

That's a hunka chicken!!

We ate some for dinner and there is still 5 quarts of pulled chicken for Saturday. 

Muddy Buddies (or as my kids know it, Puppy Chow!) and onion pretzels. Yum, yum! 

Gluten free cupcakes....I will icing them with something yummy. I'm thinking peanut butter :) One of them will not make it till Saturday. That's a fact!

I ordered a cake from BJ's and purchased lots of mini cupcakes, too. 

Tomorrow is cleaning day.....my least favorite party prep chore.  But it must be done and it will get done. 

For now, I will rest a bit then get ready to see Granddaughter Paityn at her dance recital. Precious! (Rest and dancing Paityn!)
