RORY FEEK SHARES PHOTOS OF HIS WIFE, JOEY FEEK'S PRIVATE FUNERAL IN FAMILY'S TENNESSEE FARM

In a blog post, Country singer and songwriter, Rory Feek has shared the photos of the private funeral held on Tuesday for his wife Joey Feek who died from cervical cancer at the age of 40 on March 4th.
She was buried in a grove of sassafras trees behind their farmhouse in Tennessee.

At the funeral, The Isaacs sang "It is Well With My Soul" and the pastor who baptised Joey in her hometown church in Indiana, Jerry Yong shared memories of Joey and the good news of the gospel.

Joey's best friend, Julie, her manager Aaron and Rory's sister spoke about Joey while Sandy Lawrence sang , "When I'm Gone".

Rory who was overwhelmed with emotion when it was his time to speak stood looking at his wife's photo and words were not enough to express how much he loved Joey.

When his time was up, a video celebrating the life of Joey made by Rory and Jory's friends, Daniel and Gabe was played which brought smiles, laughter and more tears to Rory.

Joey was buried amongst family and friends.
