I am a big fan of a LBD (little black dress). When I saw this bow back version from Nordstrom, I knew it would be the perfect holiday dress! It's well-made and a fun, classic cut. I think it would make a great dress for Christmas mass or a holiday work party since it is cut conservatively and looks great with pearls. As far as sizing, It runs generously, so I would suggest sizing down at least one size. I accidentally ordered the wrong size and Nordstrom's customer service was so quick in exchanging the sizes.
I got these red pumps a few weeks ago and I am loving them. I don't usually love red, but a pop here and there makes the holiday season so much more fun. Plus, I think they look fabulous worn casually with black skinny pants (as seen in this Instagram) and they are on sale under $80! If red is not your thing, they come in a ton of other colors, too! In general, I think a colored shoe is a great way to break up a neutral outfit. In this case, I think the red pumps made this LBD a little more special for the holiday season.
I topped off the look with these black Tom Ford sunglasses. I love them because they are very Jackie O, don't you think? I aways wear my RayBan aviators but I wanted something totally different and a little more dressed up, I think these definitely do the trick.
